Scott & Raven Smith have been married for nearly fifteen years and have four precious children. They each have many academic, personal, and ministry-related accomplishments. Below are a few.
Scott is a graduate of Valor Christian College, formerly World Harvest Bible College (Columbus, OH). He continued his studies at Indiana Christian University (Noblesville, IN) where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry. Scott is a full-time biomedical technician, and part-time minister, teaching inmates in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice prisons how to live victoriously in Christ and find lasting freedom from addictive behaviors. Scott has appeared on Daystar Christian Television, has been featured in various magazines, as well on other radio programs. He has written five books, Receiving God's Cape (New Release), Unbroken (Revised and Updated 2015) Cracking the Wine Case (Revised and Updated 2015)), Mystery God (2011), and a children’s book called, God Loves to Color, Too! Scott is also 1st-degree black belt in American Karate.
Raven attended both Valor Christian College(Columbus, OH), and Oral Roberts University (Tulsa, OK). She has extensive ministry experience, including: working with the mentally handicapped, counseling pregnancy crisis situations, interpretive dance, youth ministry, and much more. Raven has formerly been employed with the children's ministry at the largest church in America. She is a major contributor on our book Receiving God's Cape, and she helped illustrate and advise on the family's children book, God Loves to Color, Too! Raven's more-than-full-time job is raising and equipping the family's four children. Raven does not hold a karate belt at this time, but she has been Scott's self-defense "victim" several times and has watched all the Karate Kid movies. She will also say that she took karate as a kid!
