Statement of Faith

 

1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, given to men by the Holy Spirit to reveal the true nature and essence of God and His dealings with man.

2. We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; and that all three exist co-equally and co-eternally.

3. We believe that man is sinful and in need of a Redeemer, and was redeemed by Jesus Christ on the cross, through His death, burial and resurrection and that man must accept this redemption by faith and appropriate the redemption to his life by trusting (believing) in Christ and His work for us.

4. We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, that He is the Son of God, that He was sinless in His humanity and perfect and complete in His Deity, that He came to save man from eternal condemnation by giving His life, and that He is alive, seated at the right hand of God, making intercession for the believer.

5. We believe in the personal work of the Holy Spirit, which includes conviction, and regeneration of the sinner, and indwelling of believers.

6. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and that it is available to all believers who ask for it by faith.

7. We believe that Christ's work on the cross also provided for divine bodily healing for those who ask in prayer by faith.

8. We believe in a bodily resurrection of those who are saved and those who are lost; the saved to everlasting life with God in heaven, and the lost to everlasting life with Satan and his workers in hell.

9. We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord Jesus for His bride.

10. We believe that by true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ that ANY person may obtain salvation and that His work on the cross was for ALL of humanity (the world) and not just a select group.
