A Hypothetical Writing

A few earth years ago Judgment, the army of God, received the sign that they had long awaited for thousands of centuries. Upon establishment of the sign they immediately began preparing a massive offensive. But this army would not be attacking another nation, culture or ethnic group. They would not be fighting terrorism for the advancement of humanity. They are not ridding the world of some evil dictator who is bent on conquering the nations. They are waiting to utterly demolish an entire planet—earth.

At present, the General of the Army has issued a decree to bring all the horses out of pasture and to be decorated with the ornamentations and garments of battle. He has cancelled all furloughs summonsing every available soldier and has fashioned flaming swords of righteousness in their hands. Yes, the time is at hand; even the horses know they could ride out at any moment as the ear-pounding whinnying and increased pulsation of their hooves upon the gold-laced bricks of their stalls becomes almost unbearable.

The general in command of “Judgment” has all the necessary components organized for an annihilating assault that would make every inhabitant of heaven cringe. He has amassed an army for a mission with this magnitude once before during the days of Noah and he knows that they will be riding out at any time—for the signs are synonymous. But they still have to wait for one final order—the failsafe encrypted code to release them to strike with unquenchable fire upon the whole earth and obliterate everything—to penetrate with unmatched precision and discharge the equivalent of 100 million nuclear bombs upon the face of the earth.

 But you can relax, at least for an earth second, because this is just a time of preparation. They still have to wait for mankind’s sins to be complete, to be full grown, to become wholly wicked, to not have a sliver of righteousness left in them. They have to wait for God’s extreme patience and mercy with the people of earth to come to a halt. But every day that mankind refuses to repent brings the war-ready riders of righteousness ever closer to the prophesied day of doom.

Every time the leaders of the nations of the world commit atrocities the riders feel the unction to saddle up for one final conquest. Every time another innocent child is abused, another baby aborted, another city attacked by a terrorist, another person robbed, another decision to legalize same-sex marriage, the army of Jehovah-Sabaoth comes ever closer to riding out into the dark sky of sorrow that looms over their part of heaven.

Based on the moral condition of the world I would imagine that their day of departure is very close.

The call to repent has almost been exhausted but if you’re reading this you can still make Jesus the Lord of your life. Repent (that means to turn away from your lifestyle of sin and walk toward the things of God), and become real with God. Cry out to Him and tell Him you want to begin a relationship with Him that is closer than any human relationship that you have. You don’t need to do it in front of a pastor. God does not desire a mechanical prayer prayed by everyone in the congregation. He wants YOU, not your pastor, to repent to Him from the heart. If you committed the act of adultery against your spouse, he/she would not want me to lead you in a statement of repentance to them: “Now repeat after me: Jane, I am so sorry for doing this [pause] Jane, I am so sorry for doing this…” (etc.)

For once in your life, just get real with God and give Him your heart. Stop living a life of selfishness and live for HIM. The time is now; today is the day of salvation.  Start reading His love letter to you, the Bible, to get closer to Him each day. Pray (every relationship needs communication). Witness your newfound faith to other non-believers.

DO NOT DELAY. TIME IS RUNNING OUT ON HUMANITY. EVACUATION IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST.
